Downhill Slope
Well another week has come and gone and here we are again! Well this week was definately a quick week! So I guess the sort of big news from this week was hitting my year mark! I still cant believe that one year has already gone by! It literally feels like yesterday that dad was taking me to the MTC and with a blink of an eye I'm here now! To celebrate we all ate burgers and Charwamas! It's weird to think that I'm on the downhill slope now!
Anyway this week we worked a lot with our investigators who are progressing! Please continue to pray for our investigators, the last few weeks before baptism is definitely the hardest! But all is well.
So this week we set a baptismal date for another one of our investigators, I know for a fact that he was prepared because he always asks all the right questions and does everything we ask! He is awesome!
Anyway the last really big news from the week is the transfer.......and Elder Ratodisoamalala is being
transferred to Togo! My new companion is Elder Bulunga from the Congo! From what I understand he is a stud so we should get along great!
So other than that everything is pretty much the same! I hope all is well! I love you and miss you! And remember.....only 361 more days! JK

He received his "Hump Day" package and loved it. He is also a senior companion now.

One Year Gone
Well another week has come and gone and here we are again, oh and hey this week we can say one year has come and gone and there is one more to go! haha Anyway this week was pretty good for the most part!
One day this week the power was out at our apartment for 14 hours and we had no water for 14 hours also, trust me one experience that you do not want to try!
This week the work went really well! We were able to meet with all of our progressing investigators! Everything is going really well in our area! So right now our little branch finally has a building that we are getting ready to start using! And it’s awesome once we are officially in this building our branch will progress so much! All in all I’m seeing the Lord’s blessings all over the place!
So one year ago today I was set apart as a missionary! I really can’t believe that I have been out one year already! Time really does fly! Oh and this week is transfers and it’s pretty much sure that we are being touched here so next week there will be some sort of big news!
Anyway I hope all is well! I love you and miss you!

I sent this to JD for his "Hump Day." I can't believe a year has gone by already.

Hard Work Pays Off
Well its sounds like everything at home is pretty normal! Things for me are going pretty great! I guess for the month of January has really had me focusing on hard work! I'm doing it and don’t want to stop!
This week was another week of me seeing the results of what hard work does for you! This week we had a hard time filling up our schedule but it still wasn't a bad week because we did our best to find an appointment! I am defiantly seeing the blessings. We are expecting 3-5 baptisms next month! Seriously things in this area are going pretty freakin good!
Right now we are working with a couple who are getting ready to get married! It will be the first marriage that I will be involved with if everything goes through in time! We just keep praying for them and we are going to hope everything works out good.
Seriously I know that you are blessed when you do what the Lord wants you to do. That is all for the week. It’s short but it’s simple! Not much happened this week! I hope all is well! I love you and miss you!

I Know That With Hard Work Blessings Come
Well another week has come and gone and here we are again!
So let’s get started from the beginning! Anyway, so this week was really awesome because we got a lot of teaching done. I felt like every single day we were so busy because we were constantly teaching. Every single day I was just tired when the day was over!
But everything wasn't completely perfect. We have an investigator who always says we can teach her at a certain time but then she is never there! So the other day that investigator wasn't at home, so as we were leaving we decided to talk to just one random guy, and well it went pretty well! We had a lesson with him later in the week and it went really well, but the problem is that he is always working so it’s hard to actually have a lesson with him but he liked the message we gave and he said one day he will come to church!
The best thing from this week was yesterday at church....we had 6 people come to church! It was awesome! I really feel as the harder I’m working the better my area is getting! Now I’m always wondering why people hate coming to this side of Cotonou! I’m not saying it’s easier here than anywhere else but I know that with hard work comes blessings!
This week we had our personal interviews with President Weed and it went really well! In mine we talked a lot about faith, and he gave me a lot of good advice. It was really good talking to him!
So there has been a fairly large announcement made! In July we will be getting a new Mission President! This past week they announced it and his name is Pierre-Paul Morin! He is Canadian! He is from Québec City, which is a French speaking area in Canada next to Montreal!
Anyway that’s just about it for this week! I hope all is well! I love you and miss you!

This Week I felt Closer to Our Savior
Wow what a quick week this was! So this week was pretty bittersweet! This week myself and Elder Ratodisoamalala had some of the best numbers that I have had since I arrived in this area. I guess that
just reflects hard work! Our area really seems to be getting better but people aren't coming to church. So we can work pretty hard all week but if people don’t come to church it almost feels like a waste. But
it’s all good. People will come to church eventually!
So I've been having a hard time with my companion lately. I'm trying my best to develop patience but it’s hard. I'm praying for help so I hope all turns out well! On Saturday, I had the chance to work with Elder Boto again and it was awesome! We worked so hard! It was just like old times!
This week I felt closer to our savior....maybe because it was such a bittersweet week! I hope all is well. I miss you and love you!

11 Months!
Well another week has come and gone and here we are again. You already hit the big news for this week and that’s my 11 month mark! Holy cow has time passed fast. It’s hard for me to believe sometimes but wow it’s almost been like the past 11 months have been a blink!
Anyway this week was pretty good! Now that the parties are over myself and Elder Ratodisoamalala have really started working hard! We started by seeing all of our potential investigators and then we went to all of our current investigators. Then we started working on the inactive in our area, and finally trying to find new investigators too. All and all we were working pretty hard this week and I have faith that it will all work out!
So something interesting I found out this week also was I asked an investigator when all the parties end and she laughs at me and then says the parties don’t end until January 31! I was like ohhhhh that’s great and then she said I hope you have a great month of partying and then I just smiled haha! Anyway so I guess the partying continues until the end of the month but not as serious so I think we should have a little better success!
Anyway things are good thank you for all you do! I love you and miss you!
